From Malawi ... May 2007 The rains have all but finished, leaving a luxurious display of flora all around, but devastating road surfaces. Most of our travel is on dirt roads – the tamac stops just outside the cities and major routes, so progress out in the Bush is painfully slow – and I do mean painful! Being thrown around in our ancient 4x4 Toyota for hours on end is challenging, tiring and expensive in constant car repairs! However, it’s great to be back in Malawi.......
Early Days ... July 2005 I thought you might like to know how things are going out here in the African Bush. Out in the bush, most live in acute poverty, and many struggle on a daily basis to feed their families. But we’re privileged to be here and the six weeks passes all too quickly. So what did we do? ......
Report of our Oct/Nov 2007 trip Travelling from the searing heat and high humidity of the African Bush, to the freezing temperatures here in England, is quite a shock to the system! But it’s good to be back to share some of the amazing things that have happened in Malawi during the past few months....
History In 2004, David and Lynda Mills, an ordinary middle-aged couple from Norfolk, UK, visited this region for a fortnight en route to Mozambique....
