Changing lives with bricks & sticks!

Tisunge and her 5-yr old twin daughters lost most of their house in a storm and were desperate—living in a tiny borrowed room.  Tisunge has no income apart from odd jobs she can occasionally find so there was no way she’d be able to rebuild. Damage was too extensive to repair so we carefully demolished the building, recycling as many materials as possible, and rebuilt her home — to her delight and relief!

Additionally, during this month, we’ve also reconstructed 3 thatched roofs for vulnerable families following extreme damage by the weather.
